Full Interior Build-Out: Installation of underfloor heating, insulation, new Visqueen, and a new concrete base.
Structural Modifications: Installation of new steelwork to support a third-floor loft conversion, complete with a large dormer on the back and two smaller dormers on the front.
Large-Format Glass Installation: Organized crane drivers and lifting gear to install massive pieces of glass (up to four meters by two meters) on the back of the house.
Exterior Restoration: Hacked out and re-pointed all stonework, refitted new jambs, sills, and heads.
New Drainage System: Dug up and installed a new drainage system with six-inch underground drainage pipes, rodding eyes, and manholes.
Landscaping: Installed Indian stone and site flagging around the house, along with new curb stones.
High-End Finishes: Installed tilt-and-turn windows, large pieces of glass in the middle of the house and roof, glass dormers, pocket-style doors, a water feature, and a slide from the top floor to the next for the client's son (craned in through the roof).
Full Interior Work: Completed all electrical, plumbing, groundwork, landscaping, joinery, plasterboarding, skimming, painting, decorating, and large-format tiling.
Roofing: A full re-roof with new windows on the sides of the dormer, new cladding, leadwork, decorative ridge tiles with dragons, and decorative chimney pots.
Log Burners: Installed decorative log burners in all the bedrooms, along with decorative radiators on the upper floors.
Complete Transformation: Rishton House was transformed from bare stone walls into a modern masterpiece, showcasing exceptional design and craftsmanship.
