We have successfully achieved **[CHAS](https://www.chas.co.uk/about/) (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) Accreditation**, a widely recognised and respected certification within the construction industry. This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of health and safety, environmental responsibility, and quality management on all our projects. For our valued clients in Clitheroe, Blackburn, and across the wider Lancashire region, this certification provides an added layer of assurance and peace of mind when choosing D Blackburn Contractors for their building, roofing, or landscaping needs. ![dbc-CHAS CERT-Contractor](https://dblackburncontractors.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/dbc-CHAS%20CERT-Contractor.webp?width=1000&height=1413&name=dbc-CHAS%20CERT-Contractor.webp) CHAS is a leading accreditation scheme that demonstrates a contractor's compliance with rigorous health and safety legislation and best practices. As an SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) Approved Contractor \[CDM\], our certification (Membership No.: 172147) confirms that D Blackburn Contractors has been independently assessed against the SSIP Core Criteria and strict UK Health and Safety Legislation. This isn't just a tick-box exercise; it's a comprehensive evaluation of our policies, procedures, and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for everyone involved in our projects. Achieving CHAS accreditation is a testament to the dedication of our entire team. It involved a thorough review of our health and safety management systems, risk assessments, method statements, and training records. It reinforces our proactive approach to safety – ensuring that every single project, from a small roof repair to a large commercial groundworks scheme, is planned and executed with meticulous attention to safety regulations. This rigorous process demonstrates our professionalism and our drive to continuously improve our operational standards. **What Does Our CHAS Accreditation Mean for YOU, Our Customer?** For homeowners, property developers, commercial businesses, and local authorities working with [D Blackburn Contractors](https://dblackburncontractors.co.uk/about-us), our [CHAS accreditation](https://dblackburncontractors.co.uk/hubfs/dbc-CHAS%20CERT-Contractor.webp) translates directly into tangible benefits: 1. **Enhanced Peace of Mind:** You can rest assured that you are engaging a contractor whose health and safety practices have been independently verified as meeting national standards.
